Experts Group

This section of the DBTG web site provides a “gateway” to the Dry Bulk Experts Group (DBEG)

With outstanding career experience in dry bulk terminal management, operations and expansion, as well as general logistics and so on the members of DBEG offer their practical expertise – individually or in combination – through a consultancy service capable of encompassing the widest range of dry bulk terminal and materials handling projects.

The Dry Bulk Experts Group comprises a number of industry specialists formerly representing their terminals in the work and development of the International Dry Bulk Terminals Group (DBTG). As a result a mutual respect and trust has developed between them. At the same time it is important to note that DBEG and the International Dry Bulk Terminals Group are entirely separate entities. Confidentiality and impartiality are essential elements of both the Experts Group and DBTG.

Private information gathered by members of the Experts Group in the course of their consultancy work will not be shared via the DBTG information exchange process unless specifically authorised by the consultancy client. And of course the same is true in reverse

In recognition of the “gateway” provided by the International Dry Bulk Terminals Group it is expected that DBEG members will contribute to DBTG a percentage of any fee obtained on a project introduced as a result of the DBTG connection upon completion of their work.

The International Dry Bulk Terminals Group is a not-for-profit society and its funds may be used only to support the aims and work of the Group.
